Gianduja Chocolate Hazelnut Tart
A decadent delight for chocolate lovers. We blend high-quality dark chocolate with roasted hazelnut paste (Gianduja) to create a silky, truffle-like filling that melts in your mouth.
Ingredients
- 1 Pre-baked Chocolate Tart Shell
- 300g Dark Chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 100g Hazelnut Paste (or smooth hazelnut butter)
- 300ml Heavy Cream
- 50g Unsalted Butter (softened)
- Pinch of Sea Salt
- 50g Roasted Hazelnuts (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1
Place the chopped chocolate and hazelnut paste in a heatproof bowl.
Step 2
Bring the heavy cream just to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove from heat immediately.
Step 3
Pour the hot cream over the chocolate. Let it sit for 2 minutes, then stir gently in concentric circles until smooth and glossy.
Step 4
Stir in the softened butter and sea salt until fully incorporated.
Step 5
Pour the ganache into the cooled tart shell. Tap gently to remove air bubbles.
Step 6
Sprinkle roasted chopped hazelnuts around the rim.
Step 7
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
